The university has achieved carbon neutral certification for its campus operations, five years ahead of the target set in its sustainability strategy.
Measures included a 4.2 megawatt rooftop solar array, geothermal heating for eleven buildings, and a transport plan that shifted more than half of all commutes to public and active travel.
